Woven

Woven Bodies was founded by Morgane (she/her) and Alexandra (she/her), two queer women, who wanted to expand their family & found it surprisingly challenging (and upsetting) about the lack of care providers who were queer, queer fluent & allies.

Morgane Richardson comes into this space with over 10 years as a perinatal health educator, doula and lifetime as a community + human rights activist. Morgane is also a somatic coach.

Dr. Alexandra Garcia is board licensed doctor of acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Her practice focus is in perinatal support and pediatrics.

We're an inclusive healthcare practice dedicated to providing support for allbodies through acupuncture, massage, somatic coaching and informative body-focused classes.

Our objective is to establish a space that initiates and nurtures dialogues concerning the impact of gender, sexuality, class, and race on the healthcare landscape.

We exist both as an online resource and have a physical Woven HOME in Kingston, NY.
